Ok, but what is an escape room?
It's something you really have to experience first-hand. Here's the gist: you and your group (friends, family, co-workers, strangers, anyone!) enter a room with a specific theme (for example, you enter an old motel that's been deserted), you have 60 minutes to complete a series of puzzles and mental challenges in order to escape the room. In order to "win" you must find clues and complete all puzzles within the 60 minute time limit. It's a truly immersive live escape game that is like no other activity. You'll have a blast, we promise! You may even be addicted to escape rooms when you're done at Sprightly Escapes. :-)
This sounds like it might be scary, and I don't like being scared. Are escape rooms not for me?
That was a fear of ours before we tried our first live escape room. There are some scary escape rooms, but WE ARE NOT ONE OF THEM! We have themes that will get your adrenaline pumping, but we promise there is nothing in the room meant to scare you. In fact, you and your group will be the only ones in the room.
Who should I play with?
Good question! This is a great activity for all sorts of groups - families and friends. It also makes for a one-of-a-kind team building experience. You could also use it as an opportunity to make new friends by joining a team with other folks.
What if I don't want to play an escape room with strangers?
No problem! You can reserve a private time slot. We honor private booking requests of any size (including two-player teams) for our Mission Improbable and The Work Place: Office Party for no additional cost, 7 days a week. We can honor private bookings in Weekend Get-AWAY of any size for Monday through Thursday (excluding holidays). Since Friday-Sunday are our busiest times, we leave our biggest room, Weekend Get-AWAY, open to accommodate as many players as possible during our weekend schedule. Any group of six or more players is automatically private in Weekend Get-AWAY.

How do I book a large party (9+ people)?
Although we suggest that groups consist of 2-9 people, we are happy to accommodate larger groups. Just send us an email and we will find a room for you.
What happens when my group escapes the room?
Why would we tell you that ahead of time? Escape and you will see! Let's just say there is a winner's corner...

Can I book an escape room outside of the available days and times listed on the website?
We can be flexible! It's ideal for you to find a time during our posted booking hours, but we can also do our best to accommodate special day/ time requests. Just give us a call or send us an email to work out details outside of typical operating hours.
Is there an age restriction?
We don't have an age restriction for either of our rooms. Please note however that our Mission Improbable room can be frightening to some younger children. The room is dark and there is bomb prop that can be a bit too realistic for some children. Parents know their child best though and we trust their judgment on whether it would be a good fit. Feel free to reach out to us by email or phone if you’d like to discuss this further.
Do I need to be physically fit?
No! This is a mental, not physical, challenge. Prepare for a mental work-out!
What should I wear to play this live escape game?
Anything! You will not be crawling or running around any of our rooms.
Does Sprightly Escapes offer team-building?

Can I play a room for my birthday or for a special event?
Yes, please! We would love to be part of your special day. Send us an email at contact@sprightlyescapes.com if you have any special requests and we'll do our best to make it happen.
Can I get a refund if I need to cancel my booking?
Let us know if you absolutely can't make it during your scheduled time, and we'll work to reschedule your room. Please note however, that we are unable to provide refunds. Thanks a million for understanding!
