Teachers love escape rooms... and we sure do love teachers!
Guess what, folks!? It's Teacher Appreciation Week. That's right, a week to celebrate the awesomeness of teachers and the impact they have on students' lives each day. So go hug your favorite educator or buy 'em a much-deserved coffee... or even a trip to their favorite Denver escape room (cough cough Sprightly Escapes). Teaching is the toughest but arguably most important job in the world, so put a smile on a teacher's face this week, friends.
Speaking of teaching… that makes us think about team-building.
Did y'all know that we (i.e. Denise and Kara i.e. the kick-butt ladies who own Sprightly Escapes: The Denver Escape Room Experience) come from the education/ non-profit world?! Welp, it's true. Aside from spending a few years teaching some really awesome 4th and 5th graders (see, we love teachers!), both of us have spent a good bit of time focusing on team-building. And when we say team-building, we're talking ACTUALLY building a trusting, safe, inclusive and joyful team culture. That stuff just doesn't happen over night, folks. We happen to be believers that outcomes and goals are met when people come first. We have countless examples of times when that's been the case, but we'll save that for our next (cough cough, first) best-selling book.
A Sprightly Escapes team-building experience is the most meaningful experience your team could engage in... WAY more purposeful than bowling, folks.
We happen to think we facilitate a pretty unique and meaningful team-building experience in Denver. Again, without boring you with details, you can check out our Team-Building page for more info... or shoot us an email at kara@sprightlyescapes.com... or wait for that best-selling book we'll be releasing at some point in life.
And hey, for all you educators out there, we love working with students, too. Give us a shout to chat more. #shamelessplug
Now on to riddles, brainteasers, and puzzles… oh my!
It's been about a million years since we gave answers to our #solveitsunday Facebook riddles, so the last part of this good ole escape room blog is dedicated to riddles, brainteasers and puzzles. You're welcome.

Riddle: The Storage Room
Answer: When you were inside the storage room, the murderer replaced the padlock with his own one that was seemingly identical to your original padlock. When you locked the store room, you did not require a key and there was nothing abnormal for you. When you left, the murderer opened the padlock with his key, placed the dead body inside and replaced his padlock with the original padlock back in place. He then locked it without any problem.
Wahoo! And just like that, it's a wrap, folks. Keep on puzzlin' and keep on escapin'. And don't forget to share some love to those teachers in your life.
Much love,
Denise and Kara
