Hey there, escape room friends! How's life? Good? Good! Things are just peachy over here at Sprightly Escapes: The Denver Escape Room Experience. Per usual, we've had the best escape artists swing by our East Denver/ Aurora escape room location over the past week or two. You're probably sick of us saying it, but sheesh, our Sprightly Fam is seriously awesome.

Speaking of awesomeness, did you know International Women’s Day is coming up?

That was a good transition, eh?

But no really, International Women's Day is coming up on Wednesday, March 8. Did you know that?

According to the official website, "International Women's Day celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievement of women." In addition to the usual March 8 holiday, many of you have probably heard about the A Day Without a Woman strike that will also be taking place on March 8.

Now, we're certainly not trying to make this a political blog post (let's be honest, we all get enough of that), but we do think it's important to highlight this. Here at Sprightly Escapes we support the work that's being done to promote equity, justice and human rights for all oppressed people. Period. Full-stop. No questions asked.

So - according to the official Women's March/ A Day Without a Woman website, there are a few ways that folks can participate in A Day Without a Woman:

Take the day off work (if you are able to)
Only shop at small, women- and minority-owned businesses
Wear the color red in solidarity

What does all this talk have to do with Sprightly Escapes: The Denver Escape Room Experience?

Good question!

Well, we (Denise and Kara) happen to own and operate Sprightly Escapes.... and we happen to be ladies. We hope you take time to support International Women's Day in whatever way makes sense to you, but if you happen to be in the market to play an escape room, then we hope you keep us in mind. Answer: You can both be heroes. A Super Bowl MVP helps their team win the championship, and you help your team save the dinosaurs when you play our Mission Improbable themed escape room. - Is this one a stretch? We're not sure ;-)

HOTEL ROOM MISHAP
Answer: You don't knock on your own hotel room door when you enter. The man was clearly visiting and was potentially up to no good.
